Contact: Hasselblad, (425) 861-6434, Turn Over A New LeafĬapable of shooting up to 70 images per minute, the Leaf AFi medium-format digital camera system was designed and developed with Jenoptik and working pros. Current Hasselblad users, as well as users of third-party digital backs, have the option of upgrading to the H3DII system, including the H3DII-39MS, through a trade-in program. Outstanding pixel resolution, better colors and improved detail rendering are standard fare, along with features like a new RAW converter. Combining this technology with the full functionality and integration of the H3DII-39 D-SLR, Hasselblad has created an exciting new system. In doing so, there's an increase in resolution and each pixel will receive 25 percent Red, 50 percent Green and 25 percent Blue, so there's no interpolation, and the file size (224 MB, 16-bit TIFF) doesn't change.

The four separate images are assembled in Flexcolor to produce one file. Finally, the CCD moves another pixel (6.8um) and records 25 percent Green. The CCD again moves one pixel (6.8um) and records 25 percent Blue. The first capture records 25 percent Red, then the CCD moves one pixel (6.8um) and makes a second capture recording 25 percent Green.

The multishot option on the H3DII-39MS takes a sequence of four captures. The Hasselblad H3DII-39MS, a multishot version of the H3DII-39, is an ideal camera for architectural and still-life photography, particularly when shooting fabrics, textiles and products where color accuracy and moiré-free image quality are paramount.
